We are not Donald Trump by any means, but my wife and I have been purchasing properties for some time now and the biggest issue we have encounter whilst the process is going through is our solicitor. Weather that be not keeping us informed, not telling us the facts, or simply thinking because they have a degree, we are somehow not worthy or even worse, think we are working for them, or they are doing us a favour.

The solicitor service we have been receiving was so poor we were contemplating other avenues for our investments.

A friend recommended Paul, at your Cottingham office, unfortunately he was working for the vendor and was put through to Lindsay.

When we first spoke with Lindsay we were very clear as to what our needs were and how we wanted to proceed, and explained why as the service we had received in the past from other solicitors was at best very, very poor.

Well………….. What can we say? Lindsay listened to what we required and how we required it. Now that was a first for us, so thought this might not be too bad.

To cut a look story short as I am now boring myself, but I thought you might need a bit of history behind our case.  Lindsay has restored our faith in solicitors to such an extent that we have purchased a further five all of which we have used Lindsay services for.

We have very rarely had to speak with “assistants” as Lindsay has always made the time to take our call, if not, rang us back the same day. Always had the answers to our questions, but, BUT if Lindsay has not the answer to the question, she has remember one thing we don’t like and that is the smell of bull, and been totally frank and said “I haven’t got the answer, but I will get it”. This is very impressive and honest, so easy to achieve yet so rare to find.

A couple of the properties were very challenging due to the lender requirements, but Lindsay did not moan, did not give up and remained positive and professional and brought them to a close for us.

What we would like to say Lindsay is by far and away the best solicitor we have had the pleasure to engage and we look forward to working with her again, she has done us proud, herself proud, her team proud and your company proud. She does deserve a pay rise (but please remember our discount!)
