If you registered an Enduring Power of Attorney or Lasting Power of Attorney between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2017 you may be entitled to a refund of part of the court fee from the Office of the Public Guardian. A claim can be made either by the donor of the power of attorney or by an attorney acting on his or her behalf. The amount to be refunded depends on when the application for registration was made and varies between £34 and £54, provided a full fee was initially paid.
