To enable us to complete the application you would need to provide valuations the deceased’s assets and liabilities, as at the date of death.
We will complete the IHT205 and prepare a Statement of Truth for signing by the Executors / Administrators. These documents together with the original Will (if applicable) will then be submitted to the Probate Registry.
Once we are in receipt of the Grant this would be passed to you to enable you to encash the assets, pay the liabilities and distribute the estate.
Our fixed fee for this service is £595 plus VAT
We also charge a fee of £10.00 plus VAT to carry out an identity check for each Executor / Administrator
Potential Additional costs
If the Will is found to be defective and an Affidavit is required additional costs will be payable.
Disbursements are expenses paid on your behalf such as the Probate Application Fee paid to the Court.
We anticipate that this matter from your providing the information required to receipt of the Grant will likely be around four weeks.
